Giving up the land they rented would save money too and Tom could rent the extra land on the farm to expand his pigs. Pat sees the numbers add up but still doesn’t agree it’s the right thing.
  • Later Paul calls the woman back. It is a woman named Celia. Paul begs her to speak to him but she says she wants him out of her life once and for all.
  • When Brenda gets in from work she pretty much explodes when Tom doesn’t listen about her day. So Lilian was in a bad mood, so what. Tom tries to calm her down and tells her she doesn’t want to lose her job. She says she can’t think of anything better and how can Tom expect her to care about his work when he can’t be interested in hers.
