  • At Grey Gables, the conference delegates are enthusiastically taking part in Oliver’s cheese tasting and Roy will analyse the results. He is a bit concerned about Lynda’s B&B plans and the potential conflict with her duties as a receptionist.
  • Peggy finds Jennifer in the garden and gets an update, on Alice, on Adam and of course on Brian. Tim is visiting today and Brian rang from the zoo, well out of the way.
  • Roy’s presentation of the cheese results impresses Caroline, so do the results. Brenda turns up with an essay she has written on marketing a quality product – bedtime reading for Caroline?
  • The girls’ night out is not getting off to a good start; Emma was delayed at work and George is a nightmare.
  • Peggy has cooked for the stressed Jennifer and insists on loading the dishwasher too. She is still adamant that Jennifer need not be forced into anything but Jennifer explains that despite her prayers Siobhán is going to die, Brian will take care of his son and Jennifer does not want to lose him – so she needs her mum’s support. Peggy has another stress-reliever up her sleeve – a day at the Chelsea Flower Show next week.
  • In the night club, Kirsty has her eye on a New Zealand sheep shearer but Emma, who as a single girl should be ‘pulling’, is sitting quietly; she is obviously out of the habit, so perhaps this was not the right night out after all.
