Peggy is feeling the strain from caring for Jack.
Radio Times: Jack takes a turn for the worse.
Characters: Bert, Jack, Lilian, Peggy, Robert- Jack is now getting confused by marmalade and has forgotten about Sydney’s funeral. He doesn’t even seem to remember who Sydney is. He is just too tired to go. So they both can’t go – if he wakes up and finds her gone he will get even more confused. So Lilian is going to give the speech instead.
- Bert is still trying to look for things to do but Robert says no – even for free so Bert leaves in a huff. Unfortunately though, that means Robert ends up stuck in the loft when he can’t get out. Bert helps him out but he’s too busy to take a drink off him. He’s out helping Mr Pullen. He brings Robert a book back from the library though – Winnie the Pooh, Pooh goes visiting and gets into a tight place!
- The funeral went well but Jack has completely forgotten about the funeral of that Sydney had died. Lilian realises the strain Peggy is under and knows she will have to help out.
