  • Henry is excited about the Flower and Produce show and is determined to win a prize with his crown. Helen is taking him to avoid any chance of meeting Rob for his first contact visit with Jack. Why do they have to do this? Tony says it will be fine, 3 hours not a minute longer. Rob then rings to check everything is okay. Tony stresses that he is not to come near the house. Rob says he knows the rules; he just wants to see his son.
  • Jill is taking her flower and produce entries down to the Green. She has Carole Tregorran’s too and can’t fit it all in the car. Pip volunteers Toby to help.
  • Tony hands Jack over to Rob. Rob is rather overcome. He is so perfect and beautiful. Tony seems quite moved too. Jack is a bit disturbed but Tony says it will take a while. Tony has to tell him what to do, how to hold him, how to comfort him. Later Jack is screaming. Tony says he needs his nappy changing – he’ll do it. Rob insists he wants to and has no idea so proposes to call Ursula to help him. Tony refuses and Rob has, very reluctantly, to ask Tony to show him how.
  • Henry is impatient to find out if he’s won a prize. Pip says it is nice to see Helen out and about. Helen says everyone has been so nice. She is surprised to find out that Pip and Toby are an item. Pip tells Toby that they shouldn’t be kissing in public. She needs to get time to get used to it. And Toby needs to tell Rex.
  • Henry is excited to find he has won first prize. Jill has done well too and she finds out she has won the Freda Fry Trophy for Best in Show. The Borchester Echo even takes a photo with the trophy. Jill is thrilled. Carole turns up to find out how things went and discovers that Toby has muddled up the entries. It is Carole’s chutney that won best in show – not Jill’s.
  • Henry is upset that Jack can see Daddy but he can’t. He wants to show him his rosette. Tony tries to distract him with face painting but Henry won’t be put off. So Tony picks him up and takes him anyway.
