• Jill’s at Home Farm, ostensibly to ask Jennifer to do some cake-baking ahead of Saturday’s fete, but really to see Baby.
• It seems that Jason is currently doing up Sammy’s cottage – ready for Greg (who shows no inclination to go to the fete) to move in at the weekend.
• Debbie has some difficulty with the huge combine, a gate post and a tree. As Jill fetches Brian, Greg helps out a grateful Debbie, eventually telling Brian that she managed it all by herself. They share a pint in the Bull, as Eddie fails to convince Greg into joining in the gut-barging.
• Jennifer takes Baby into the shop where Betty gets her first view of, possibly, her first grand-daughter – commenting of the similarities with Brenda, when an infant.
