• Bert’s not impressed with the standard of Valentine’s messages in the Echo – he could do better. David, though, suggests a trip to see Rodeo Ross to Ruth – an idea which shocked Sid when mentioned last night. Also in the Echo was Eddie’s advert – which David noticed and was shocked at.
• Roy had to take Phoebe along to a recruitment fair at college and she wasn’t altogether popular. He doesn’t care – it’s she and him against the world.
