Shula voices her suspicions about Ryan and the burglary.
Radio Times: Mike and Clarrie join forces.
Characters: Clarrie, Hayley, Kenton, Mike, Shula- Hayley has come to look at the decorating work at Willow Farm; she is impressed how light and airy it seems but doesn’t seem completely sold on the colour scheme, even though she chose it.
- Shula has made an early call on Kenton to talk over something that is worrying her. At least the insurance company seems ready to accept that leaving the alarm off was an oversight.
- Mike explains to Clarrie the dilemma over the Carters’ Anniversary arrangements; they don’t immediately see a solution but at least their grey matter is engaged.
- Shula explains that she keeps coming back to the idea that Ryan is involved in their burglary. She thinks Alistair has the same idea but cannot come out with it. It’s almost as if he sees Ryan’s failure reflecting on him.
- Hayley really isn’t happy about the colour scheme but is worried that Mike will be cross about her changing her mind. He is a model father-in-law, listens to her reasoning and accepts the change with a smile.
- Kenton reveals to Shula that he has met Ryan and that he later worked out where he had seen him; it was at a poker game and his conduct, after heavy losses, did not do him credit; he is certainly not the easy-going chap he appears to be. Kenton agrees to ask around and see if he can find out more about Ryan.
