Radio Times: Jazzer rocks the boat for Fallon.

Characters: , , , ,
  • Sid wants Fallon to do some shopping for him in Borchester but she is meeting Ed but that rather takes him aback, especially when she tells him they are going out on the river.
  • Kathy has to tell Sid what happened with Owen. Sid is initially sympathetic and says he would have been happy to be involved. He might have been able to help. But he is a bit shocked to hear she named him. And he’ll need to think about what he is going to say about hitting Owen. The police are very quickly in touch and Sid is due to make a statement on Wednesday. He is adamant his only regret is not hitting him harder. Kathy is worried that Sid might go over the top with the police but he is determined that this time he should make sure Owen is stopped.
  • Ed and Fallon are having a good time, gossiping about Mike’s new girlfriend. Mike is very keen but maybe all the theatre stuff and books is a bit beyond him. Fallon uses it as a launching pad for her attempt to persuade Ed they are right together – but then Jazzer turns up. Apparently Ed had told them were there if he wanted to join them – especially for the trip on the river. It gets worse when Ed says he can’t get any time off on his birthday either. And the final nail in the coffin comes when Jazzer sets up a foursome with him and one of his girlfriend’s mates. Fallon decides to go home.
