The beanstalk falls foul of the law. Usha and Tom find the Christmas spirit wears a little thin. Hannah has a good idea

Radio Times: Graham Ryder goes on the rampage.

  • Hannah continues to impress Jazzer with her interest and knowledge. She’s seen a new method of centralised pig-weighing on the net, and thinks they should try it, as it’s much more efficient. It just might make Tom lighten up a bit, too; he’s nagging her about not over-feeding, because Brian is watching every pig-nut.
  • Tom’s mood over the pig food owes a lot to tiredness. He missed the panto because he fell asleep, and Mike’s presence doesn’t exactly help. When he meets Usha, they offer mutual commiseration over the awfulness of visiting relatives.
  • Lynda’s euphoria at the success of her production is short-lived. Graham Ryder high-handedly threatens to report her for being in breach of health and safety regulations when the bean-stalk falls down. Luckily, Usha is in the audience, and Lynda is able to ask her professional advice.
