The Christmas lights go on, with Ambridge Hall characteristically OTT: it’s too much for Eddie!

• The Police House is finally getting straight. They’re even joining in the big synchronised Christmas light switch on. Just as much fun as being in Budapest! Looks like Linda’s lights might dwarf the lot of them. Even Bow Bells puts in an appearance! Eddie’s not quite so keen on the lane being lit up. Siobhán missed her turn but had the opportunity to tell Jennifer about her trip to Brussels. Strange that Linda’s lights suddenly went out during the ceremony too – just when Eddie’s out with his gun.
• Eddie has to confess to Clarrie that he’s hasn’t convinced Neil to give him somewhere to hang the turkeys. Joe will just have to give up his bedroom.
