Tom swallows the bait so the Mikado is back on and Jill is not amused to find that Elizabeth’s been talking to Kenton
Radio Times: Tom has no choice.
Characters: Hayley, Janet, Jill, Kirsty, Lauren, Lynda, Shula, Tom- It’s the Christingle service at St. Stephen’s and everyone’s looking forward to the festive season; Hayley and her first Christmas with her new family, Jill’s concerned about the singing tree, Janet’s glad to have got the photos to the printers and Lynda’s not entirely sure that the Mikado will go ahead.
- She needn’t have worried, though. Kirsty has Tom around her little finger and, although he’s busy, when she suggests that he play up to Lauren – with her blessing – so as to get the production back on track, he’s willing to play. When he approaches Lauren, she’s not being bought cheaply but (of course) she eventually agrees and when she relays the news to Kirsty, everyone’s pleased – especially Lynda.
- Shula’s heard from Kenton about Phil getting Alan to re-appraise Brookfield – and Jill’s not amused that Elizabeth’s talked, especially as David still doesn’t know about it. Jill’s very worried about the effects on the family – and on Phil, who just wants to make the right decision for the long term future of the farm.
