Will triumphs. Adam sulks. Jazzer advises. Matt drinks.

Radio Times: Jazzer gives words of dubious wisdom.

Characters: Adam, Brian, Jazzer, Jennifer, Matt, Tom, William

• The BL board assemble for their tour of the shoot. Will is very nervous, but seems to recover quickly when he learns that Matt is no longer on the board, so won’t be there. Adam’s there, in sulky mood. He’s worried about the future of the estate contract now Matt’s no longer a board member, and thinks that Brian pays too much attention to Will’s ideas and not enough to Adam’s. Brian will be glad when Debbie gets there.
• Jazzer has agreed to help Fallon with some gigs, which doesn’t please Tom, who thinks it will affect his work at the pig unit. Jazzer tries to get Tom to talk about Brenda, but he won’t. Jazzer tells him he isn’t fighting hard enough to get her back.
• Will gets into his stride, and demonstrates how to kill a magpie, to the horror of some of his audience. Jennifer gushes to Brian about how impressed everyone is, and how the atmosphere amongst the board members has improved. It’s a fresh start, she claims.
• Adam won’t let his grievances rest, and moans on to Brian about the economic aspects of planting covers for the shoot. Jennifer tries to stop the argument by asking for help to tidy the house, but gets nowhere. Will appears, and gets a large tip from Brian. Adam, too, is looking forward to Debbie’s visit and support.
• Jennifer is so exhausted by the tour of the shoot that she proposes going to Grey Gables for dinner. They encounter a drunken Matt at the bar. He claims to be meeting a business associate, and that the deal they’ll be doing will be far bigger than any BL deal. He becomes increasingly aggressive, especially when Brian tells him to go home to Lilian.
