  • The funeral goes as well as can be expected. Kenton’s speech contains some weak jokes that raise a small titter in the congregation. Shula’s focuses on Nigel’s green credentials and passing things onto the next generation. Lots of people turn up, Debbie, Ellen, Jolene. The children do well and it was good for them to see how much he was loved. Jill is worried Elizabeth will now go straight back to work and the last thing the children need is their mother getting ill. And Elizabeth now needs to give some serious thought to the children’s entrance exams.
