Brian is being a bore and Tom loses a boar.

Radio Times: Jazzer heads for sweet disaster.

Characters: , , , , , ,
  • A very grumpy Jazzer is not pleased to be kept late at Home Farm but there are things that just must be done. When Brian appears he is finally able to take off, leaving Tom to finish attending to Harry the boar.
  • At Brookfield, Eddie reports that Ed and Emma are delighted to have their tenancy of Rickyard Cottage renewed. It was not a difficult decision: Ruth would be lost without all the cleaning and other things Emma does.
  • Brian is like a terrier with a bone. They agreed a price for the business last week but his solicitor has heard nothing. What is the hold up? Tom and his new partner are not acting very professionally. In the end Tom is so wound up that he storms off to his next task.
  • Jazzer’s urgent mission is to track Eddie down in the Brookfield milking parlour and noisily take him to task for selling dodgy chocolate; he had found the perfect woman but the chocolate has ruined his love life. He can’t even understand the ingredients list. Lynda has called on PC business and is interested in the health implications. In the end, Eddie agrees to a refund plus compensation for Jazzer and to cease trading until the contents have been investigated.
  • Lynda is fired up on her plan to send someone to the Antony Gormley project in Trafalgar Square. David certainly doesn’t object and Lilian seems to have other things on her mind.
  • Mission accomplished, Jazzer has time to call back to Home Farm to check on Harry and finds him – gone! When he confronts Tom with the evidence he realises that, wound up by Brian, he forgot to switch the electric fence back on. Where has Harry got to?
