Customers are leaving the Bull as Jolene continues to go through the motions.

Radio Times: Jamie stands his ground and Clarrie comes to the rescue.

Characters: , , , ,
  • Jamie has deleted Kathy as a Facebook friend. Kathy isn’t impressed. She has a right to know what he is doing. He’s left Kenton as a friend – he trusts him. He is fed up with Kathy spying on him. She is always there, in his face. He isn’t allowed to live his own life.
  • Fallon is finding staffing the pub a bit difficult but Clarrie steps in. Jolene is still pretty much going through the motions. When they are talking about the staffing, it turns out that Will has been interrogating Clarrie about how Nic is at the pub. He’s obviously very suspicious.
  • Kathy has had another row with Kenton with him accusing her of trying to do her dirty work. He said she would have to earn Jamie’s trust back. Ruth thinks teenagers can be more trusted than they think. They have to have some space. She is missing Sid, he was such a good father and now she is failing Jamie. Ruth tells her she is doing a fantastic job but Kathy still wants Kenton to do more. Ruth suggests he joins Josh and Daniel at the swimming pool but Kathy thinks it will have to be Josh that invites him.
  • Kathy then finds it necessary to pour out all her troubles to Clarrie. She really is a martyr. But Clarrie is more focussed on Jolene. Lots of customers are beginning to go elsewhere. Not everyone is prepared to tiptoe around a bereaved landlady on their night off.
