Emma and Will part on good terms. Adam and Debbie part on bad terms.

Radio Times: Debbie shows where her loyalties lie.

Characters: , , , , ,
  • Jennifer is concerned that the advertising for Tom’s sausages is dominating the Ambridge website, but Brian clearly thinks that since he’s paying, he’s entitled to dominate it. He wants some of Jenny’s harvest photos to send to Ruaridh, and with a certain reluctance, Jenny finds some, but clearly has no idea that Siobhán and Dieter have separated.
  • Will calls to pick George up from Emma, and upsets her by delivering a lecture on Ed’s shortcomings and how Emma is better off without him. She tries vainly to defend Ed, but Will is dismissive.
  • Debbie has summoned Adam to the estate office for a meeting, and sulkily, he goes. He’s sarcastic when she mentions that she’s ordered new office furniture, and furious when she presents him with a schedule of estate work complete with target dates. He protests that Home farm will take second place, but Debbie repeats her offer of finding casual workers if Adam can’t cope.
  • Emma’s car has a flat battery, and Will finds a set of leads to jump-start it. Emma’s really grateful, and calls him an angel. They part on good terms.
  • Brian has been persuaded to take a look at one of the holiday cottages where the tenants complained about smells from the pigs. Brian retorts that if they don’t like farm smells, they shouldn’t stay on a farm. Debbie says goodbye and drives off to Hungary. Adam just manages to miss her, and is forced to hear Brian and Jennifer sing her praises yet again.
