Jazzer acts as go-between. Annabelle makes Matt see sense.

Radio Times: Jazzer faces conflicting loyalties.

Characters: , , , , ,
  • Fallon’s upset about Ed’s attitude. She quizzes Jazzer, who not surprisingly, is evasive. But he does say that he and Ed spent the evening together, and suggests that the only reason Ed’s not answering Fallon’s calls is that he’s left his phone at Meadow Rise.
  • Matt’s still furious after his row with Brian, but Annabelle makes him see reason. She thinks it might be sensible to revert to the original plan for the digester, and get Ruth and David back on board. That way they’d avoid alienating the village, which would stand them in good stead for future plans. Matt agrees to speak to Adam, while Annabelle will broach the subject at Brookfield.
  • Fallon has realised that Ed has his reasons for avoiding Emma, and asks Jazzer if something was going on between them while she was away. Jazzer calls her a bunny boiler, but offers to ring Ed and tell Fallon what he says. He goes out, ostensibly for a smoke, and when he returns, claims that Ed’s just hung over.
  • Joe shows Mildred round the country park, and they discover that they have a lot in common.
