Radio Times: Ed finds Nic at breaking point.

Characters: , , , , , ,
  • All is not well at Casa Nueva. Nic is looking after all three children, and Will’s been called out to the birds on his afternoon off. He offers to take her to Keeper’s Cottage, but the prospect of an afternoon with Joe isn’t appealing.
  • Lilian smuggles Eddie a pasty and commiserates over his enforced diet. In return, Eddie is sympathetic about Lilian’s domestic troubles.
  • David fetches Ruth home. She can’t wait to smell the fresh, slurry-laden air and to hear the cows. Davis is very pleased to have her back home.
  • At Keeper’s Cottage, Nic loses her temper with George, who starts to cry, just as Ed comes in. He’s positively frosty towards Nic, and George goes back to Emma before tea. Nic has a major go at Will, firstly about the hours he works and the time she has to spend alone, and secondly about money. She asks him for an allowance. Poor Will does his best to placate her, but then his phone rings. It’s Brian, and Will is needed at work.
