Oliver has decided to struggle on with the milk scheme.

Radio Times: Mike piles on the pressure.

Characters: , , , , ,
  • Oliver has more or less given up on his project. It was all built around Ed and there isn’t anyone he can rely on. Now he’s going to have to sell the Guernseys as soon as possible. It will be tough letting Mike down.
  • Jennifer has taken the strawberry pickers to Oxford. Adam hopes she’ll be okay. Two of them are quarrelling. But Jennifer should cope with a few bickering teenagers.
  • Mike is determined Oliver should keep going. He can do afternoon milking. Maybe Joe could do mornings. Joe needs to have something to convince himself that Ed will come back. And Mike really needs to have something to look forward for the future too. He can’t lose that now.
  • When Jennifer gets back, the two troublemakers had had a fist fight in Balliol quad. Adam blames Debbie for sending them. But he’s more supportive of one of the strawberry pickers who wants to start up in the Ukraine. He’d like to help with the costs. It would be good PR.
  • Caroline is worried about Oliver trying to do too much to keep the milk scheme going. But Oliver has decided; he just can’t let people down.
