Phoebe is very cut up about Kate going away.

Radio Times: It is party time at Lower Loxley and Kate is feeling guilty.

Tony arrives with flowers for Pat. It’s their anniversary – 36 years. They are going out for a meal too. Tony is a bit nervous about Vicky starting in the dairy but Pat is pretty convinced it will be fine. She has a responsible job at the dentist after all. Talking about Christmas, Pat says how it will all be changed next year once Helen’s baby is there. Pat thinks she still needs a lot of support but Tony still can’t help but regret that there isn’t someone with her – like the two of them. He just wanted her to have the same chance.
Phoebe is wrapping presents for Nolly and Sipho. She’s a bit worried Kate will think they are too heavy. Hayley tries to convince her it will be fine and that it will be good they know she is thinking of them at Christmas but Phoebe is very down. 6 weeks is a long time. Kenton isn’t surprised to hear it – Kate has form – but Hayley doesn’t want to talk about it or she might say exactly what she thinks of Kate.
Kenton is enjoying the skating rink for Lily and Freddie’s birthday. Kenton has plans to add some extra spice to the festivities…. He thinks a mystery highwayman might be just the thing. Kenton picks up vibes between Jill and Nigel. Lizzie explains it’s all to do with Freddie and Lily and Jill thinking they should both go to Borchester Green. Lizzie hopes she’ll keep her thoughts to herself.
