  • Jennifer and Clarrie are preparing breakfast for after the Dawn Service. Nic is suffering from the early start. Jennifer tells Jill that Chris is on the mend. She can’t believe that Alice is still considering going to Canada. Jill tells her they’ll have to make up their own minds.
  • Pip puts in a brief appearance at Brookfield but heads off to Spencer’s to help his mother make lunch instead of helping David as she’d agreed so Josh has to help out instead. Meanwhile, Jill and Heather engage in competitive simnel cake tasting. Pip, of course, doesn’t turn up for tea, preferring to spend the time with Spencer’s gran instead of her own. Ruth is furious and Pip just hangs up on her. When she finally gets back, Pip says she has plans with Spencer for Monday too, but Ruth and David insists she changes them and takes Heather to Lower Loxley instead.
  • Jennifer is enjoying the Easter Egg hunt at The Bull with Ruairi and says Clarrie is very lucky to have her grandchildren around her. Emma is using the opportunity to hand out Ed and Mike’s leaflets about the milk. She is really hoping they have turned a corner.
